Is ook van specia effects studio van oa. Meatball Machine. Op zich produceerden die gasten best toffe special effects.

Interessante designs! ipv ledematen, 4 paar katana's (nog extremer dan Dororo/Blood Will Tell), en nog wel meer. Ziet eruit alsof het een redelijke Splatter Film/Exploitation Cinema stuk gaat worden, net zoals die zusterfilm "The Machine Girl".

Er word wel nadruk gelegd dat het script is geschreven door ... Niet dat het veel uitmaakt, exploitatie cinema staat niet echt bekend om een briljante plot te hebben. Misschien wel beter, zit in zo'n film z'n pacing in de weg.

The plot of TOKYO GORE POLICE revolves around Ruka, a police officer in a special squad formed to eradicate human mutations that have recently sprung into existence, the result of a virus created by a mad scientist simply known as Key Man. Killing these unwieldy mutants is no easy task, and Ruka, naturally enough, carries a samurai sword with her at all times. Despite being on opposite sides of the fence, Ruka and Key Man share a common bond: the murder of their fathers years earlier at the hands of the police, and both she and Key Man seek revenge for their dads’ untimely demise.

But she doesn’t stop at one limb; Ami continues to lose body parts and replace them with more weapons.
