Segaworld

Ghost Hunters
Image
Notes (T Butters) : You were in a sorta car thing on a track and you went through a haunted house kind of setup shooting at \"monsters\" projected infront of you. Was good 2 player fun, but rather hard ;)

Mad Bazooka
Image
Notes : Bumber Cars crossed with foam/ball guns, looks superb fun :)

Power Sled
Image
You controlled a powered bob sleigh down a steep snowy course, the controls were largely unresponsive, I imagine it was meant as more of a ride, as it was not a very good game

R360
Image
Gyroscopic full motion cabinet which rotates fully through 360 degrees in every direction. Spherical main unit mounted inside giro on 2 axis, which was in turn mounted on fully rotating outside circumference.
This is the only machine I have ever seen where people are actually afraid to go on it. It makes some people feel sick just looking at it, which is understandable!.
The R360 is the ultimate arcade cabinet (especially for the time is was produced) and it is still yet to be beaten.

quote:
It is our pleasure to confirm the 1999 Sega World Educational Program…..

\"Opening the Doors to Understanding Technology\"

There is a huge opportunity to learn about computers, the operation of rides and the technology used in creating and operating Australia’s largest indoor theme park.

We wish to introduce you and your group to the facilities used and the role that modern technology plays in operating and sustaining the unique environment we call Sega World.

This program will include……

An explanation of the use of technology in the development and operation of the rides and games.
A question and answer session adjoining such an explanation.
The opportunity to \"experience\" the technology utilised at Sega World.
A demonstration of the technology used in our advanced audio-visual room.
Entry cost for the Sega World Educational Program is $15.00 per person, entitling each guest to an Unlimited Fun Pass and a meal voucher (Sonic Burger, chips and soft drink). One teacher will be admitted free for every twelve (12) paying students.

The Unlimited Fun Pass includes access to all the rides and over 150 arcade games within Sega World Sydney (if you wish to play the redemption prize games, tokens will need to be purchased).

Educational visits commence at 11:00, 11:30, 12:00, and 12:30pm. The explanation and display will take no longer than 30 minutes; however, you are welcome to remain in the park for up to three hours. Please note that food and drink of all kind is prohibited from entering the park.

If required, worksheets are available for students to complete throughout their visit. We would also like to extend our invitation for accompanying teachers to enter free of charge with every twelve students booked.

While your visit to Sega World is not only beneficial to the students learning experience, it is also an enjoyable and popular excursion for both students and teachers.

As a special offer, if you book your student group in the month of March, we will reward your school with complimentary Unlimited Fun Passes and fabulous merchandise packs! These prizes are perfect for school fund-raising and raffles!

The number of rewards you receive depends on the number of students you book as follows:

Groups 20 – 302 x Unlimited Fun Pass
Groups 31 – 60 4 x Unlimited Fun Pass and 1 Merchandise Pack
Groups 61 – 906 x Unlimited Fun Pass and 1 Merchandise Pack

A roller coaster in a lost temple. Virtual nothing, this is the real thing! Take your seat in a miner\'s cart and prepare yourself - the sounds of spirits fill the air, and fascination lines these ancient walls.
You\'re getting the heebie-jeebies. Just when you thought you were sight-seeing, chaos hits. There has been a gas leak in the mine and fires are breaking out all around you. Take your grip on the infra red water cannon and do the classic hero thing. Save the world and get out of there! It\'s not an easy task but, if successful, you will be rewarded with your own personal score card at the end of your journey.

-Sega Australie is rond 3 December 2000 gestopt.

quote:
GHOST HUNTERS

Image Yeah, yeah. Ghost, schmost! Inside this seemingly harmless abode the real spooks reside. Your mission is to rid the house of its unwanted spooks. You\'ll have to zap the ghosts and ghouls with your Ghost Hunters zapper. Along the way faces pop out of the walls, ghouls and ghosts inhabit the halls and you won\'t believe what awaits you around the next bend!
Your reward for saving the day - fame, fortune and a photo on the front page of the Sega World Times newspaper. Cool.

quote:
TOWN CARNIVAL

How many times have your parents said \"in my day we had space invaders, (blah blah blah)\". Finally your chance to show them how to do it - on your turf!

Revenge is sweet! Mums, Dads and Kids alike WATCH OUT - this mission has no rules ! Picture this - it\'s kinda like dodgem cars, kinda like target practice with a bit of Gladiators thrown in. Driving across the Mad Bazooka floor with your partner in crime beside you, your job is to suck up the lots of foam balls all over the floor while your partner scores points from the targets on the other cars.
If you drive too slow you\'ll get tagged for sure; drive too fast and your partner will miss everything. What\'ll it be?

O! Enne Maistro\'s, ik ben op zoek naar een paar dikke Dreamcast games, can you guys help out? Ik zoek Metropolis Street Racer (US versie), Quake 3 (US), Border down (JP) en die ene vage third person fighter/shooter met o.a. Cammy (streetfighter) in o.a. een Resident Evil level. Gaat een van jullie trouwens nog voor die Sammy machine, de Atomis Wave?
