The latest Weekly Famitsu magazine has revealed new boss characters featured in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
Based on the article, these bosses are in a special force unit called "Beauty and the Beast" and each are given names which most MGS fans are familiar. These female "soldiers" are not trained to fight but are actually victims of war, each having serious health and mental issues in the past transforming them into tragic weapons of destruction.
- Screaming Mantis: this thing has got 3 extra arms coming from each shoulder, and if that's not enough, it also comes with two humanoid bots floating on each side!
- Raging Raven: it's got giant wings for flight and loaded with tons of missiles.
- Crying Wolf: posing like a gorilla with four limbs and a long tail, it's powerful and agile despite its gigantic size.
- Laughing Octopus: don't laugh just because it's got four tentacles coming out of its head. Those things will come crawling and will definitely be attacking you.
Expect to see these crazy looking bosses in action in the new trailer. Apparently, Konami did try to show it this morning at the Games Convention but had some technical difficulties. Hopefully we will be able to see it soon!
