Sega Classics op de Revolution

Sega Classics op de Revolution:
Earlier today, Nintendo of America's Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing Reggie Fils-Aime gave Nintendo DS owners the opportunity to play a game of Mario Kart DS with him at a McDonalds location in Bellevue, Washington. During his visit, Fils-Aime also provided a few details concerning the company's next-generation console, code-named the Nintendo Revolution, with Web site Nintendojo on hand to capture the details.

Fils-Aime noted that Sega will be on board for the Nintendo Revolution's "backwards compatibility," presumed to mean the Virtual Console service. However, he declined from divulging any further details relating to specific games.

Regarding the Revolution's classic controller expansion, Fils-Aime mentioned that the device would look similar to the GameCube's WaveBird controller, but did not specify how the remote unit would be accomodated.

Revolution Report was not present at the event, so this information, while credible, is by no means validated as absolute fact as of this time.
